Anna Berthelsen

AnnaHi I am Anna Berthelsen. I am 26 years old, and this is my third year of competing in expedition length adventure races. I developed a sense of adventure and love of the outdoors during my childhood, partly spent in the Tasmanian wilderness and the other half spent exploring the Pacific Islands with my parents and two sisters on an old-style sailing catamaran.  I currently live in New Zealand where I am working as a marine biologist in Paua aquaculture. Here I can enjoy all of the outdoor activities which I love, including surfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, tramping, kayaking,  rock climbing and lying in my hammock reading.
